The St. Bonaventure Drama Department has long been a source of pride and joy for our school community. Countless students have discovered their passion for the arts within its walls, and countless audience members have been captivated by the incredible performances throughout the years. Now, we can bring back the glory days of our drama department by providing them with a state-of-the-art performance space.

But that's not all! This new Black Box Theatre will benefit our drama students and our growing music program. The space will be versatile and flexible, serving as a hub for both dramatic and musical endeavors. By supporting this project, you are investing in the future of the St. Bonaventure Drama Department and expanding our music classes and opportunities for our talented musicians.

To make this dream a reality, we need your support. We aim to raise $50,000 to transform the old Library space into a 16'x20' thrust stage, with seating surrounding three-quarters of the stage. We have already raised an inspiring $10,000, but we can only reach our target with the generosity of all those who hold the St. Bonaventure Drama Department near and dear to their hearts. We are calling on all of you to open your hearts and wallets and be part of this historic endeavor.

Imagine the possibilities that this new Black Box Theatre will bring! With your support, we can equip the theater with a professional lighting grid, instruments, soundboards and systems, a projector, comfortable seating, and all the necessary electrical, painting, wall construction, and stage flooring. This will be a transformative space, providing our talented students with the tools they need to shine and express themselves on stage and enabling our music classes to flourish.
